She holds a Master of Laws with honours from the Academy of Advocacy of Ukraine, is First Vice-President of the Ukrainian foundation of companies providing organisational and legal support for assisted reproduction, and heads the section on family members' rights in healthcare within the Family Law Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association. Since 2024 she has also served on the Council of the UNBA Committee on Medical and Pharmaceutical Law and Bioethics. She works in English and German.

Andrew is a very serious and dedicated professional, who understands very well all aspects of the business but is also a very pleasant person to deal with or enjoy a beer. He made everything easy — from contract forms, compliance with Australian legislation, finding egg donors for me to choose from, organizing and supervising the entire IVF process, finding and selecting a surrogate mother to my liking, representing me legally in Ukraine, finding accommodation, supervising the surrogate mother during pregnancy, and arranging transportation while in Kyiv or Lviv.

I did not need another lawyer in Australia — Andrew did everything right and there never were any issues.

I would also recommend surrogacy in Ukraine if you want to have the peace of mind of not having to worry the surrogate mother will change her mind.

Questions answered honestly

Is surrogacy legal in Ukraine, Georgia, and Armenia?

Yes. All three countries have explicit legal frameworks permitting gestational surrogacy for heterosexual couples — married couples in Ukraine and Armenia; married or unmarried couples (living together at least one year) in Georgia. In Ukraine and Armenia, intended parents are named on the birth certificate immediately after birth. In Georgia, the birth certificate is issued through Civil Registry within 1–2 weeks — administratively, not via court hearing in standard cases.

How are surrogates screened?

Every surrogate in our program has already given birth to at least one healthy child of her own. She undergoes a thorough medical examination, psychological evaluation, criminal background check, and social assessment before being matched with intended parents.

How long does the process take?

Most journeys take 12–18 months from signing the agreement to bringing your baby home: surrogate matching (4–8 weeks), IVF and embryo transfer (2–3 months), pregnancy (9 months), and 2–4 weeks after birth for documents.

What happens if the first transfer fails?

Our Standard program includes one embryo transfer (additional transfers cost $2,000 each). Our Comfort program includes 1 IVF cycle and up to 3 embryo transfer attempts. Our Prestige program includes up to 3 IVF cycles and unlimited embryo transfer attempts.
